Corbin Carroll continues to lead for the Arizona Diamondbacks during the 2025 MLB season and is making history along the way.
One of the leaders and faces of the franchise, Carroll has been doing his best to keep the D-Backs fighting through a tough season. On Wednesday night, Carroll kept up his hot streak by smashing a solo home run to center field to help give the Snakes some much-needed energy.

Recently, Carroll has carved his name into the record books, joining a club so exclusive it includes just two other names: Joe DiMaggio and Lou Gehrig. In his first 440 career games, Carroll has reached at least 70 home runs, 80 doubles, and 40 triples, a combination matched only by the two Yankee legends during the live ball era, which began in 1920.
How about this legendary company for the @Dbacks star?!

What makes Carroll’s accomplishment even more remarkable is how it blends power, speed, and consistency across multiple categories. While DiMaggio and Gehrig were known for their dominance in the batter’s box, Carroll adds another layer with his elite speed.
The D-Backs outfielder continues to prove that his 2023 Rookie of the Year campaign was no fluke. He has become a foundational piece for the franchise and one of the most exciting young stars in the MLB. His early career trajectory places him on a path not just toward stardom, but toward potentially historic greatness.
To be mentioned in the same statistical breath as DiMaggio and Gehrig is no small feat. Both are Hall of Famers, symbols of baseball’s golden age. Carroll’s inclusion alongside them is a statement. One that says he belongs, and he’s only getting started.
