During the Chicago Cubs game against the Milwaukee Brewers, Pete Crow-Armstrong went super-human to help secure the Cubs the 5-3 win. Amid Crow-Armstrong putting together an incredible night, Cubs starter Justin Steele made two posts on X, showering the young center fielder with praise.
MVPete!!!

The first post from Steele simply called Crow-Armstrong as "MVPete!!!" With the Cubs center fielder putting on a show defensively, and hitting a 450+ foot home run in the eighth inning to give the Cubs a much-needed insurance run, calling Crow-Armstrong an MVP isn't undeserved.
Steele then followed his first post on X up with another one, which claimed Crow-Armstrong is much-watch television.
PCA is must watch television right now. Every time he takes the field; stop what you’re doing and just watch. He has whatever “IT” is.

"PCA is must watch television right now. Every time he takes the field; stop what you're doing and just watch. He has whatever 'IT' is."
The praise for Crow-Armstrong comes amid an incredible season, which has led him to be slotted in as an All-Star starter and one of the best outfielders in baseball. His defense and offense have made Crow-Armstrong, in the words of Steele, "must watch television."
Crow-Armstrong is batting .270 with 19 home runs and 58 RBIs to begin the year. On the year, Crow-Armstrong has 76 hits, 52 runs scored, 16 doubles, three triples, 23 stolen bases, 14 walks, and 73 strikeouts. His offensive production has been some of the best in the sport, and he's even better defensively.
According to Baseball Savant, Crow-Armstrong has an Outs Above Average (OAA) of 12, second in all of baseball to only Bobby Witt Jr. Crow-Armstrong has the highest OAA of all outfielders and has been making highlight reel plays night after night in center for the Cubs.
The praise from Steele comes amid Crow-Armstrong's breakout season. He's been one of the most electric players in the sport in 2025, and every night, he's seemingly doing something remarkable.
Cubs fans and Steele are likely to agree; Crow-Armstrong is "must-watch television" every night he steps out onto the field.
