The Chicago Cubs are playing much better than expected this season, according to many experts. Among the biggest reasons for the team's over accomplishments is the talented and loaded roster.
On Friday, the Cubs restarted the in-city rivalry series at home against the Chicago White Sox. The Cubs came away with a big 13-3 win in Wrigley Field thanks to a huge performance from most of their stars, including centerfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong.
Pete Crow-Armstrong has 3 hits and 4 RBI today. Per @ESPNStatsInfo: He is the first player in Cubs history with 12 HR, 30 RBI and 10 stolen bases within the team's first 45 games of a season.

Crow-Armstrong had another monster performance for the Cubs as he was 4-of-5 at the plate for four hits, two runs (including one home run), and six RBIs. This type of huge performance is nothing new to the legitimate contender for NL MVP, as his numbers are historic.
ESPN’s Stats and Information reports that his third hit and fourth RBI made him the first player in Cubs history to account for 12 home runs, 30 RBIs, and 10 stolen bases through the first 45 games of the season.
Crow-Armstrong currently leads the team in most of the team’s statistics at the plate, including runs (34), hits (49), double-base hits (11), home runs (12), RBIs (36), total bases (98), and stolen bases (13). He has also accounted for nine walks, 44 strikeouts, a batting average of .282, an on-base percentage of .319, and a slugging percentage of .563.
Through Crow-Armstrong’s leadership and efficiency at the plate, the Cubs were third in the league entering Friday in home runs (63), second in stolen bases (50), and seventh in hits (380). The Cubs are serious contenders for a World Series title based solely on their offensive production, with PCA leading the way.
