Diamondbacks fans are going to have an opportunity for an exclusive experience and step up to the plate for a live batting practice session at Chase Field in November, as the D-Backs roll out another unique event for the community.
The Arizona Diamondbacks aren’t just building a competitive team that fans can rally around; they’re building a relationship. Their latest move, a new On-Field Batting Practice Experience, allows fans to take real hacks in Chase Field’s batter’s box, right where the pros stand. It’s more than a marketing stunt; it’s a strategy rooted in connection, community, and identity. The MLB offseason is a long and daunting one, though occasions like this truly help keep the fans connected.
In an era where sports consumption is increasingly digital, giving fans physical proximity to the game is powerful. The D-Backs are tapping into that data, recognizing that what fans crave most isn’t a souvenir, it’s a moment. What is also included in this one-of-a-kind experience is batting tunnel access in the visitor clubhouse, opportunity to shag balls and play catch in the outfield, exclusive experiences available in the home clubhouse, photo ops with the World Series & NLCS trophies, a special appearance by Baxter, and more.
The prices start at $100 for ages 5-12 and $200 for anybody over the age of 13. Spectator tickets will also be available for $25. The event will take place at Chase Field on November 22nd, and registration is open now on the D-Backs website. This event will resonate locally in more ways than one as it will create hands-on experiences to strengthen the fans next generation’s bond to the team, and to show love back to the old school Snakes fans who have been there from the start. Nationally, it positions the Diamondbacks as innovators in fan engagement, turning the field itself into a stage for community storytelling.
