The Los Angeles Dodgers haven't always had the most success with former Louisville products.

Despite that, many expect them to be in the mix for another one during the MLB draft, despite the lack of success Bobby Miller has had in the big leagues.

When searching for who the Dodgers will draft during the 2025 MLB draft, the Sporting Tribune recently linked them to right-hander Patrick Forbes out of Louisville. They added that the Dodgers are interested in Dimitri and Delmon Young's nephew, Quentin Young.

“Splitting this with a falling talent from the college side and a notable prep of interest. I mentioned in the lack mock that the Dodgers have a tendency to take a player who had a higher perceived draft stock early in the process and eventually fell, with hopes of getting back to that upside. Back-to-back mocks with Forbes here for that reason.

“They also have strong interest in local product Young, the nephew of Delmon and Dmitri. The southpaws of McKenzie and Appenzeller do come up here as well, along with college lefty J.D. Thompson,” they wrote.

Young would be intriguing here, but Forbes is the player to watch out for.

Forbes, who many consider a first-round pick, would undoubtedly be someone the organization would love to have.

At times during his career at Louisville, he struggled a bit, but the big right-hander has elite stuff.

Ultimately, the Dodgers have done an okay job of developing players. They aren’t exactly the best when it comes to development, but they've done what they’ve needed to do in that regard, too.
