Exciting family weekend at Chase Field: Diamondbacks host Kids Free Weekend

Kids Free Weekend? Ketel Marte Bat Flip Bobblehead? The D-backs have a fun weekend at the ballpark coming up just around the corner shortly after they return from a six-game road trip.

As the Diamondbacks take on the Oakland Athletics from June 28th to June 30th, adults who purchase one regular season ticket will receive two complimentary kids’ tickets for children 15 and under.

The Kids Free Weekend tickets are offered in several sections across the ballpark, allowing families to choose from multiple different locations to enjoy the game. Take note that the deal is only valid for eight tickets per account and cannot be combined with other promotions.

There will be kid-friendly activities and of course, a fan giveaway that fans will not want to miss. In honor of the memorable home run “bat toss” of the 2023 NLCS MVP, the first 20,000 attendees on Saturday, June 29 will get an interactive Ketel Marte Bat Flip Bobblehead.

The D-backs will also host Baxter’s Birthday on Sunday, June 30, in The Sandlot, with mascot buddies from across the Valley joining in on the fun. The festivities on Sunday will also include kid-friendly attractions including coloring stations, playgrounds, batting cages, Future Field, and the STEM Dugout. After the game, kids can run the bases for free, thanks to Wendy’s.

The first pitch times for the weekend games are as follows:

Friday- 6:40 PM

Saturday- 1:10 PM

Sunday- 1:10 PM

Last season, the Diamondbacks went 2-1 against Oakland.
