The New York Yankees struggled to get much going against the Baltimore Orioles on Monday, falling 3-2. They’ve now lost four straight games and five of their last six matchups.
While they still sit near the top of the standings, this stretch has fans concerned and upset. As the Yankees’ social media team posted the final score, the response was intense.

Chisholm Jr. refuses to adjust at the plate, won’t dive to preserve a no hitter, can’t be bothered to put the ball in play with runners on. He is a liability and deserves to play on a losing team with other losers like him.

The Yankees' bullpen is ill-equipped to win close games, they will underperform their expected win-loss record until the team actually treats this bullpen like the issue it is.

The Yankees are a BAD team and I’m tired of people pretending they’re not

Another 1 run loss after having the lead…… this bullpen is horrible

After Ryan Weathers nearly threw a no-hitter through six innings, Brent Headrick gave up a game-winning three-run homer at the hands of Orioles third baseman Coby Mayo in the seventh inning.
The offense didn’t get a pass after Monday’s loss either. New York went just 5/31 at the plate and scored less than four runs for the fourth straight game.
Ultimately, cold stretches like this one are normal for any team across such a long season, but that doesn’t mean it stings any less for the fans.
