A Florida man made headlines over the weekend, and while it was for another bizarre incident, it had positive ramifications. The man played a six-legged parlay on six different MLB games to become a millionaire in a matter of hours.

The bet became the longest-odds seven-figure parlay payout in Hard Rock Bet history. It elicited statements from high-profile people in the book.

“We’re Jazz’d up over this slip. One of the highest odds parlays that we’ve ever paid out – with only six legs! – and the smallest ever stake that’s minted a million-dollar payout. We’ve handled some massive winners, but this one knocked it out of the park. It’s an all-timer…send this ticket to Cooperstown,” said Neil Walsh, SVP-Sportsbook, Hard Rock Bet.

Hard Rock Bet announced on social media that the man bet on six different players to hit a home run on Friday.

  1. Riley Greene ( Detroit Tigers vs Cincinnati Reds, 6:40 PM ET): +475
  2. Coby Mayo ( Boston Red Sox vs Baltimore Orioles, 7:05 PM ET): +800 (longest leg)
  3. Jesus Sanchez ( Cleveland Guardians vs Toronto Blue Jays, 7:07 PM ET): +700
  4. Bryce Harper ( Philadelphia Phillies vs Atlanta Braves, 7:15 PM ET): +475
  5. Nick Kurtz ( Athletics vs Texas Rangers, 8:05 PM ET): +325
  6. Jazz Chisholm Jr. ( New York Yankees vs Houston Astros, 8:10 PM ET): +550

It all worked out, and the man is now a millionaire. Home run parlays are some of the hardest to hit, but this man defied and beat the odds.
