Francisco Lindor to Have First Licensed Autograph Card in Five Years
USA TODAY Sports

New York Mets star Francisco Lindor announced that he will be releasing his first licensed autographed cards since 2020 with trading card manufacturing company, Topps, on Monday.

"JUST IN: We’re excited to announce that we’ve signed an exclusive trading card & memorabilia deal with Francisco Lindor. As part of this deal, Lindor will have licensed autographed cards for the first time since 2020 ," Topps shared in a joint Instagram post with Lindor.

The post garnered attention from thousands of fans and collectors, many sharing how long they've waited for this moment.

"YES FINALLY!!!! My only Lindor auto is from 2016," said one Instagram user.

"FINALLY THANK YOU @topps and @lindor12bc for getting this done! Mets fans and collectors are thrilled," commented another.

The collaboration with Topps came just hours before Lindor announced another collaboration with Rawlings Sporting Goods, "The Official Glove, Batting Helmet, Face Guard, Base, and Baseball of @mlb," according to their Instagram bio.

Lindor released a special REV1X batting glove for Jackie Robinson Day.

On top of all of the collaborations, Lindor and his wife Katia welcomed their new baby boy, Koa, in March.

The trading card will be Lindor's first card featuring him in a Mets uniform, as his previous cards were released while he was with the Cleveland Indians (now Guardians) from 2015 to 2020. Lindor joined the Mets in 2021.

Topps trading cards start at $24.99 but can be resold for hundreds or even thousands of dollars if rare enough, especially when it comes to an all-star player such as Lindor.
