Get Today’s MLB Parlay Picks; August 28, 2025
- New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge (99) and center fielder Trent Grisham (12) return to the dugout after the eighth inning of the MLB interleague game between the Cincinnati Reds and the New York Yankees at Great American Ball Park in downtown Cincinnati on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The Reds won 5-4 in 11 innings.

Another winning day yesterday, going 2-1 ATS with our MLB Parlay picks. Baltimore took a one-run lead into the ninth against Boston, but Keegan Akin blew the save and our parlay. Back to work with a Thursday edition parlay picks. Our season record climbs once again to 76-58 ATS YTD. Loyal followers know we target games, seeing respected money and, more precisely, reverse line movements. We have three additional selections on tap for you, and betting lines discussed are the consensus at Vegas Insider and are subject to change.

MLB Parlay Leg#1: Atlanta Braves ML +158

Leading us off today’s MLB parlay will be the Atlanta Braves over the Philadelphia Phillies. Sharp money spotted on the Braves here in the form of a burner line. Atlanta is seeing 63% of the money, and yes, public money is also on the Braves, but it’s the respected money that’s moving the line. The Braves opened up at +200 and now sit at +158.

They are 6-4 SU in both their last 10 overall and as an underdog. In addition, they are 7-3 SU in the last 10 on the road. In the past years, going against the Phillies’ scheduled starter, Aaron Nola was not a sound wager, but he is just 2-7 with a 6.52 ERA this season. Give us the Atlanta Braves on the moneyline for play number one!

MLB Parlay Leg#2: New York Mets Alternate TT over 4.5 runs -156

In the middle of the lineup features the New York Mets alternate team total over 4.5 runs. New York opened as the biggest chalk on today’s MLB slate, and that is a situation we always look to target. The Mets offense has scored 49 runs in its last six games and plated at least five runs in five of those six.

Another good indicator for the probability of runs scoring is that the implied game total has risen by a half a run to 9. Miami is scheduled to send starter Adam Mazur, who has not pitched since June 18 and sports a 7.32 career ERA. Give us the New York Mets team total over 4.5 runs for play number two!

MLB Parlay Leg#3: Yankees/White Sox Alternate Total over 8.5 -136

Closing out today’s MLB parlay will be the New York Yankees/Chicago White Sox game total over 8.5 runs. The Yankees’ bats are hot, scoring 33 runs in their last four games. They are also averaging 8.6 runs per game in their last five on the road. The over is 9-2 in New York’s last 11 games overall. New York starter Will Warren has an ERA just under five in his last three starts. On the other side, Chicago has played to the over in six of their last 10 overall and as an underdog. A rare play for us here, but we take the Yankees-White Sox game total over 8.5 for play number three!

Final Thoughts:

The MLB parlays picks are designed to provide followers with three individual wagers. We will play these SU and then sprinkle some on the parlay. Remember, the hit rate on a three-team parlay is about 6-1, and parlays in general are just not a long-term profitable betting strategy. Hitting the parlay is simply icing on the cake. We try to avoid public plays, which tend to be the betting favorites. Please follow us on X and Facebook as the MLB season continues toward the Fall Classic. Let’s keep our successful MLB season going and get you another three winners. And remember to: Follow or Fade!
