Back to winning on Wednesday, cashing on two of three selections. We hit the weekend, and it’s time for a Friday edition of our MLB parlay picks. Both additional leans also came through, and our overall record stands at a very profitable 69-49 ATS. Loyal followers know we target games, seeing respected money and, more precisely, reverse line movements. We have three additional selections on tap for you, along with some additional leans based strictly on the initial line movement. Betting lines discussed are the consensus at Vegas Insider and are subject to change.
Leading off today’s MLB parlay will be the New York Mets over the Seattle Mariners. The sharps are all over the Mets today, moving them from an opening +123 underdog to a now short -120 favorite. That is a significant line movement, considering New York is seeing just 37% of both the tickets and the money. Mets scheduled starter Sean Manaea is set to make his second start after a long stint on the injury list and should be sharper than he was on Sunday versus Milwaukee.
The Mets have not played well lately, but we trust the respected money. They have won three of their last five against the Mariners at Citi Field. Despite the Mariners being 8-2 SU in their last 10 overall, on the road, they are just 1-4 in the last five and 4-6 in the last 10. We take the New York Mets on the moneyline for play number one!
The middle leg features the Houston Astros alternate team total over 3.5 runs. Houston is the biggest betting chalk on the MLB betting slate, and we are going right after Baltimore’s starting pitcher. Orioles’ probable starter Brandon Young sports a 6.70 ERA on the season. He has allowed eight earned runs and 17 hits over his last 13.2 innings pitched. This year, Baltimore has allowed right at five runs per game and 4.66 runs per game in their last seven road games. Houston’s offense has scored at least four runs in eight of its last nine games. No need to overthink this one, Houston Astros over 3.5 runs for play number two!
Closing out today’s MLB parlay will be the Arizona Diamondbacks team total over 6.5 runs. Arizona travels to Coors Field to take on the abysmal Colorado Rockies pitching staff, allowing over six runs per game. Last weekend, the Diamondbacks scored 25 runs in their three-game series at home versus this same Rockies team. Probable Colorado starter Tanner Gordon, in his last start, was lit up by the Orioles for 10 earned runs over 4.2 innings pitched. He also brings an 8.37 ERA into tonight’s contest. Colorado has yielded 95 runs in their last 11 games. This is another play we do not need to overthink. Arizona Diamondbacks team total over 6.5 runs for play number three!
Additional Leans: Rays ML, Twins ML, Marlins ML
Our MLB parlays are to provide our followers with three individual wagers. We will play these picks SU and then sprinkle some on the parlay. Remember, the hit rate on a three-team parlay is about 6-1, and parlays in general are just not a long-term profitable betting strategy. Hitting on the parlay is simply icing on the cake. We try to avoid public plays, which tend to be the betting favorites. Please follow us on X and Facebook as the MLB season continues toward the Fall Classic. Let’s keep our successful MLB season going and get you another three winners. And remember to: Follow or Fade!
