Giants vs Dodgers: The Los Angeles Dodgers failed to defeat their generational rival after dropping their second game last night. It was hard for fans to witness the defending World Series champions struggle against one of the worst teams in the league.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto was unable to save his team after Eric Haase went deep twice. Harrison Bader took Yamamoto deep as well, and the Dodgers ‘ offense scored only two runs. The Giants won with a 6-2 final score.

Dave Roberts and his squad have been in a slump, and it’s time to get back in the race and reclaim their top spot in the NL West.

Giants vs. Dodgers Game 3: Starting Pitchers

The Giants seek another win as Robbie Ray will be sent to the mound in Game 3. Ray has been decent this season with a 2.76 ERA and a 3-4 record. The pitcher will still need some run support and be aware of the Dodgers’ strong offense.

The Boys in Blue will try to rebound with Shohei Ohtani on the mound as their starter. Ohtani is chasing the Cy Young Award this season. His performance at the plate has dipped, and the club has decided to give him a day off from slugging while getting up on the mound.

The two-way star has an outstanding 0.97 ERA with a 2-2 record. Ohtani will need to save the Dodgers from losing the series against the Giants. Meanwhile, the pressure will be on Ray to show up with his veteran experience. The Giants are fourth in the NL West and are still struggling to win.
