AHWATUKEE – It was a heartwarming moment over the weekend for the Arizona Diamondbacks star outfielder Corbin Carroll during his baseball camp.

Just less than 10 hours after a long night game against the Washington Nationals, Corbin Carroll made sure to get up bright and early to make some kids’ days in the valley. Carroll’s camp held just over 300 children at Mountain Pointe High School in Ahwatukee, Arizona. 12 News’ Cameron Cox was able to get a great clip of Corbin Carroll at his camp of various campers getting a chance to be around one of the best players in all of baseball.
This is a measure from the D-Backs give-back program, as Corbin Carroll has been doing camps like this all over the valley year-round to make sure kids get a chance to experience what Arizona baseball truly means.
It’s an inspiring and uplifting feeling seeing how this franchise takes the extra step to include the entire valley, especially with the youth programs. It’s icing on the cake that great all-around guys and faces of the franchise like Corbin Carroll are happy to be the ones out there.
