Jon Heyman is a known baseball insider. He's broken plenty of stories before and he'll break many in the future, but at least on one night, he jumped the shark.
Heyman apparently heard from some sources that Aaron Judge, who just slapped 62 home runs over the fence for the New York Yankees, was heading to the San Francisco Giants as a free agent. Heyman took that information and ran with it.
The only problem? The Giants have said Judge heading to the Bay Area is news to them:

That's, of course, a pretty big mistake for a veteran journalist. If Heyman was a newbie he'd be toast. Thankfully, for him, he has years of solid reporting that should keep him in the good graces of both fans and teams alike moving forward.
The great thing about the internet, though, is that every moment is an opportunity. Heyman's erroneous report was big news and it got a ton of eyes on it right away. That was especially true for his original Tweet on the matter, a Tweet in which he misspelled Judge's name.
And thus, the Arson Judge meme was born.

It is worth noting that Heyman has reported — presumably correctly — that the Giants have offered Aaron Judge a contract worth around $360 million.
