The Boston Red Sox finally showed they're serious about competing for a World Series in 2025, coming to an agreement on a deal with Alex Bregman for $120 million over three years on Wednesday night.
The Red Sox lineup looks much better than it did a year ago, with Bregman likely hitting in the three-to-five spot.
FOX Sports predicted the Red Sox 2025 lineup, with Bregman hitting third and playing second base.
However, former Red Sox pitcher Jonathan Papelbon doesn't believe FOX's prediction will be how it looks.
He said that Masataka Yoshida will be out, Kristian Campbell will play second base, Bregman will play third base, and Rafael Devers will DH.
Nope!

The Red Sox are expected to play Bregman at second base, so Papelbon might not know what's to come.
Whatever happens, Boston will have some tough decisions to make. It's already a given that Bregman and Devers will play whenever they can. Yoshida and Campbell are different stories, however.
If Yoshida is healthy, he makes too much for the Red Sox to sit him full-time, and Campbell is a youngster with a lack of experience at the big league level.
While adding Bregman further complicates these decisions, the Red Sox made the right move by signing him.
