Justin Verlander’s Brother Sends Brutal 7-Word Shot at Shohei Ohtani

Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani can seemingly do anything imaginable.

Ohtani hits home runs, mashing 225 in his first seven seasons; he recorded an NL-high 54 last year en route to the league’s first 50-50 season. He’s a stellar starting pitcher, though he hasn’t towed the mound since 2023. And, as we saw throughout 2024, he swipes bases with the best of them.

It took a few years, but we may have discovered Ohtani’s biggest obstacle: parallel parking.

TMZ released a video of the reigning NL MVP struggling to park his Porsche at a Buffalo Wild Wings. MLB analyst Ben Verlander called the clip “just cruel” in an X (formerly Twitter) post Wednesday night.

“Nobody deserves to have a camera recording them parallel park,” Verlander wrote.

Anyone who has struggled to parallel park (even with a rearview camera) agrees.

Verlander could have left it there. Instead, the former Detroit Tigers prospect went in for the kill shot.

“Especially when you’re this bad at it,” he continued.

Oof. There’s no coming back from that one.

Interestingly, this is Ohtani’s second viral car clip this week alone. He pranked Dodgers manager Dave Roberts on Sunday, convincing his skipper he bought him a new car.

After taking a selfie with a kid-sized Porsche, Roberts tried opening a BMW. He then realized Ohtani, who pulled a similar joke on Roberts last year, got his manager again.

Verlander may want to watch out. If Ohtani can get Roberts twice, what could the four-time All-Star do to Verlander?
