The Kansas City Royals acquired Second Baseman Adam Frazier from the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday. Cam Devanney is heading to Pittsburgh as part of the trade. Frazier is hitting .255 this season with 3 home runs and 21 RBI. Frazier is no stranger to the Royals. He played with the ballclub last season. How will he fare in his return to the Kansas City Royals?

It has been a mediocre start to the regular season for Kansas City. They are in third place in the American League Central. Frazier will play a large role with the Royals. Frazier will have the opportunity to start with Second Baseman Michael Massey sidelined since June 7. Jonathan India has been filling the role in Massey’s absence. India and Frazier will platoon at the position for the time being.
This is a solid move for the Kansas City Royals. They have been stuck in the mud this season. Hopefully, Frazier will provide the team with the jolt they need to play up to their potential over the summer.
