After reuniting with Walker Buehler and Gavin Lux earlier in their road trip, the Los Angeles Dodgers caught up with Kevin Kiermaier before Saturday’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays at George M. Steinbrenner Field.

Kiermaier, who lives in Tampa, visited with former teammates in clubhouse and was presented his 2024 Dodgers World Series ring and gold jersey.

He joined Buehler, Jack Flaherty, Ryan Brasier, Brent Honeywell, Clayton McCullough, Daniel Hudson, Ryan Yarbrough, Joe Kelly and Miguel Vargas as former members of the organization to receive their hardware this year. Lux is also set to get his World Series ring when the Cincinnati Reds travel to Dodger Stadium later this month.

Kiermaier originally joined the Dodgers at the 2024 MLB trade deadline when he was acquired from the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for Ryan Yarbrough. The deal reunited him with president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman, who drafted Kiermaier in 2010 when he led the Rays front office.

Kiermaier said at the time of the trade that he felt rejuvenated by joining the Dodgers. Despite having a down year at the plate, he still provided value to the club with his defense and leadership.

Kiermaier went on to bat .203/.242/.322 with four extra-base hits and eight RBI in 34 games with the Dodgers. Manager Dave Roberts praised the four-time Gold Glove Award winner for becoming a mentor to some of the team’s younger players.
