The Philadelphia Phillies have been on a hot streak in the month of May, improving their record to 19-22. The Phillies are now tied with two other teams in the National League East for second place, which is impressive considering they once held the worst mark in the league.
Designated hitter Kyle Schwarber is having another elite power-hitting season for the Phillies this year. He is already tied for the lead in home runs in MLB.
The 33-year-old has been excellent through 41 games this season, posting a .227 batting average, .353 on-base percentage and .951 OPS with 16 home runs and 27 RBIs. He has been on a tear, recently homering in four straight games and hitting two blasts during Sunday’s game against the Colorado Rockies.
Ahead of Tuesday's series opener with the Boston Red Sox, Schwarber went on Instagram to share an off-field update. He revealed that he has partnered up with First Lite Hunting debuting a new clothing line crafted by him.
“There’s no offseason for Kyle Schwarber. When he’s not hitting homers, he’s preparing for whitetail season. That means prepping food plots, setting trail cams, and dialing in his bow. When the work matters, so does the gear,” he wrote on Instagram.
Growing up in Middletown, Ohio, he has long been into hunting and fishing. He has served as a brand ambassador for First Lite since October 2025.
As the company’s first professional athlete ambassador, he has continued to promote its durable, high-performance gear and now he will have his own custom apparel available for purchase.
Drafted in 2014, Schwarber has built an impressive career, earning three All-Star selections, a Silver Slugger Award, All-Star Game MVP honors and a 2016 World Series title with the Chicago Cubs.
This past offseason, he signed a five-year, $150 million contract extension to remain in Philadelphia long-term. The Phillies are fully committed to Schwarber for the future as they attempt to make another run in the MLB playoffs.
