The Seattle Mariners have outrighted left-handed pitcher Jhonathan Díaz to Triple-A Tacoma after he cleared waivers, finalizing a roster move ahead of their series opener against the Philadelphia Phillies.
The move comes after Seattle promoted pitching prospect Kade Anderson, who made his MLB debut against the Chicago Cubs. Díaz, meanwhile, remains with the organization after clearing waivers and accepting the outright assignment.
The official announcement came from the Mariners’ PR account on X, providing confirmation of the roster adjustment ahead of Monday’s matchup.
