Following their loss to the New York Yankees on Sunday, the New York Mets will head on the road to take on the Baltimore Orioles in a three-game series starting on Tuesday.
Despite a rough patch in June, things are beginning to turn around for New York. They won each of their last four games before Sunday, and they are just one game behind the Philadelphia Phillies for the NL East lead.
As the Mets look to continue this momentum, Tuesday's game in Baltimore could be a big one for them. Ahead of the game, the team made a notable roster move following an injury announcement.
In addition to turning it around on the field, the Mets are also getting some reinforcements, which might help with their momentum.
According to the Mets' official X account, OF Jesse Winker has been reinstated from the 60-day IL and will return to the team. However, on the flip side, New York has placed OF Starling Marte on the 10-day IL with a right knee bruise.

Winker has not played since May 4 due to an oblique strain. Before his injury, the Buffalo native was hitting .239 at the plate with one home run and 10 RBIs.
The Mets are still among the best teams in the NL and are within reach of the division lead. With just a week remaining until this year's All-Star Game, they will want to end the first half of the season on a high note, and it all starts with Tuesday's game.
