Mike Trout posts first photo of newborn baby boy

Los Angeles Angels star outfielder Mike Trout has been away from the team over the past two days as his wife, Jessica, gave birth to their first child.

Trout took to social media on Saturday to post the first photo of the beautiful boy the reigning AL MVP and his wife decided to name Beckham Aaron Trout.

What an absolutely adorable baby boy. Congratulations are obviously in order for the couple.

Trout, 28, decided to play this season despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic plaguing the United States. No one would have blamed him if he decided to opt out with a newborn taking center stage in the outfielder’s life.

Trout is hitting .292 with one homer, four RBI and an .814 OPS in six games thus far this season.
