New York Mets: Jacob Reimer, 3B (Double-A)

Throughout the 2025 season, the New York Mets have had a surplus of top performers in their minor league system. From the rise of Jonah Tong to Carson Benge‘s breakout, this has been a big year for the Mets’ farm system. Despite these key performances, third baseman Jacob Reimer has slugged his way to the top.

Reimer, our 81st-ranked prospect, has spent this year between High-A and Double-A, where he’s excelled with the bat in both spots. Between the two levels, Reimer hit .282/.379/.491 with 17 homers and a 157 wRC+. Reimer has truly been one of the best hitters in the Mets’ system.

Despite his big-time production in the minor leagues, Reimer has still flown under the radar. In fact, some major outlets don’t even have Reimer ranked as a top 100 prospect. If he continues to hit like this, though, he’ll be impossible to ignore for much longer.

Miami Marlins: Thomas White, LHP (Triple-A)

When it comes to minor league pitching performances, it’s hard to find a pitcher who’s thrown better this season than Marlins left-hander Thomas White. As a former first-round pick, the expectations for White have been hefty, and he’s handled them with grace.

Across 85 innings this season, White has jumped three levels due to his production on the mound. In this same span, White has pitched to a 2.33 ERA, recorded 138 strikeouts, while only allowing two home runs all year long. White even had a start back in late July, where he struck out 14 batters.

The Miami Marlins have slowly become a decent pitching factory, and Thomas White is another example of this. At just 20 years old, White could only be a few starts away from making his debut during the 2026 season.

Atlanta Braves: JR Ritchie, RHP (Triple-A)

The Atlanta Braves have done a very good job of developing pitching inside their farm system, as three of their five current starters are homegrown. There’s a chance another arm could join this rotation soon, as right-hander JR Ritchie was very impressive this season.

Ritchie has jumped three levels this season, spending a decent amount of time at each affiliate. He’s gone through a solid amount of work, throwing 134.2 innings along the way. In this span, Ritchie has recorded an ERA of 2.61, with 136 strikeouts, and a WHIP under 1.00.

Ritchie has made waves this year, as he’s shot up prospect rankings all across the industry because of his performance. With an ERA under 3.00 at Triple-A, there’s a chance we see Ritchie in the big leagues early on in 2026.

Washington Nationals: Alex Clemmey, LHP (Double-A)

With most of the Nationals’ young core now reaching the big league level, the Nationals are seeing some different faces break out in their farm system. One of these players, left-hander Alex Clemmey, took huge strides during this season’s games.

Moving from High-A to Double-A as a 19-year-old, Clemmey has handled resilience with grace. Across 116.2 innings this season, he’s pitched to an ERA of 3.47, striking out nearly 140 batters along the way. Although he’s run into some more trouble in Double-A, Clemmey took huge strides forward this year.

Had Jarlin Susana or Travis Sykora not been injured for most of this year, Clemmey may have had some more trouble taking home this crown. However, it’s exciting to see yet another young player in the Nationals organization look like a star in the making.

Chicago Cubs: Owen Caissie, OF (MLB)

Similar to the Philadelphia Phillies, the Chicago Cubs have had a lot of success no matter where they’ve looked. From impressive prospects to clinching a playoff berth for the first time since 2020, the Cubs are in a great spot. One of the brightest prospects in their system, Owen Caissie, has been a pleasure to watch.

Spending the majority of the season in Triple-A, Caissie has slugged balls over the wall all season long. Across 99 games, Caissie hit to a .286/.386/.551 slash line with 22 homers and a 139 wRC+. Caissie even earned a 12-game stint in the big leagues, showing the Cubs are willing to work him into their future.

Although his playing time in the big leagues was short-lived, Caissie’s performance this season in Triple-A gave us more reasons to believe his future is extremely bright. Next year will be a huge one for Caissie, as he’ll likely get more time in the major leagues.

Cincinnati Reds: Alfredo Duno, C (Low-A)

One of the most exciting breakout stars of the entire minor league season came in the form of catcher Alfredo Duno, who made a name for himself in Low-A with the Cincinnati Reds. Still just 19 years old, Duno looks like a fantastic young prospect.

Across 113 games in Low-A, Duno slashed .287/.430/.518 with 18 homers and a 164 wRC+. Duno hit so well, in fact, that he took home the Florida State League MVP award following the end of the Low-A season.

Still just 19 years old, Duno looks like a legitimate piece of the Reds’ future moving forward. Although he’s ranked as our 76th best prospect, look for him to shoot up these lists in the future.

Milwaukee Brewers: Marco Dinges, SS (High-A)

The Milwaukee Brewers have put together one of the most well-rounded and deep farm systems in the entire sport, and this has only become clearer this season.

From the standout production the Brewers got out of Luis Pena and Jesus Made to other breakouts, it was a big year for the Brewers’ minor leagues. Another underrated piece of this system was shortstop Marco Dinges.

After a standout college season at Florida State, Dinges has hit incredibly well since making his way into professional baseball. Spending this year between two levels, Dinges posted a .300/.416/.514 slash line with 13 homers and a 161 wRC+. Dinges has been a phenomenal asset to the Brewers’ farm system.

Outhitting some of the other top names in this system, Dinges has still managed to fly incredibly under the radar. With more room to grow as he moves up the minor leagues, Dinges will be a name to keep a close eye on.

St. Louis Cardinals: JJ Wetherholt, SS (Triple-A)

During last year’s MLB Draft, the St. Louis Cardinals got incredibly lucky, as one of the best players in the draft fell into their laps with the seventh overall pick. Since that day, JJ Wetherholt has blossomed into one of the best prospects in the sport, which was especially clear this season.

Wetherholt, our fourth-ranked prospect inside our top 100, has flown through the minor leagues this year. Across two levels, Wetherholt has posted a .309/.427/.512 slash line with 16 homers, 22 stolen bases, and a 155 wRC+. He’s coasted his way to being recognized as the Cardinals’ top prospect, as he deserves every bit of this attention.

Wetherholt has cemented himself as one of the best prospects in the game, not just in the Cardinals’ system. He’s currently ranked fourth overall on our top 100, and could take on an even higher point on this list next season.

Pittsburgh Pirates: Konnor Griffin, SS (Double-A)

When talking about some of the best minor league seasons in recent memory, it’s tough to ignore the numbers Pirates shortstop Konnor Griffin just recorded. Griffin’s 2025 season was historic, as the 19-year-old made huge steps forward in his development.

Although he began the year at Low-A, Griffin flew through the minor leagues, finishing the season in Double-A. His production was nearly unmatched, as he slashed .333/.415/.527 with 21 homers, 65 stolen bases, and a 165 wRC+.

Griffin was undoubtedly the best prospect in the Pirates’ system, while also having a legitimate argument to be crowned the top prospect in the entire sport. Displaying true five-tool upside, our number two prospect is one of the most exciting youngsters in the game.

Los Angeles Dodgers: Eduardo Quintero, OF (High-A)

The Los Angeles Dodgers have quietly put together a very strong farm system over the past few seasons. Possessing five of our top 100 prospects, the Dodgers’ farm system is full of talent. Despite this, outfielder Eduardo Quintero stood above the rest in 2025.

Quintero tore the cover off the baseball between two levels this year. At just 19 years old, Quintero slashed .293/.415/.508 with 19 homers, 47 stolen bases, and a 153 wRC+. Quintero, our number 69 prospect, has been incredibly impressive this season.

For the Dodgers, adding yet another talented player to their young core is incredibly important. Although he’s still very young, the tools he showcased in the minor leagues compare to the best of the best.

San Diego Padres: Miguel Mendez, RHP (Double-A)

The San Diego Padres’ farm system changed a lot this season, as they weren’t shy to use some of their best prospects to improve their team on deadline day. Even with all of these changes, Miguel Mendez still looked pretty good.

Mendez pitched his way from Low-A to Double-A this season, rarely running into trouble wherever he stopped. Across 95 innings this season, Mendez’s ERA sat just above 3.20, as he struck out 118 batters along the way.

The right-hander’s most impressive stint this year came in High-A, where he recorded a 1.32 ERA in 61.1 innings. For the Padres, Miguel Mendez’s production points to yet another dominant pitching prospect in the making.

San Francisco Giants: Bo Davidson, OF (Double-A)

This season, the San Francisco Giants had a huge breakout prospect in outfielder Bo Davidson. Across 114 games, the 22-year-old took his game to new heights, becoming their minor league player of the year.

Davidson slashed .281/.376/.468 with 18 homers and a 137 wRC+, performing well between High-A and Double-A. Davidson showcased all the tools necessary to look like a very solid potential piece of their future, as he’s developed into a pretty good player.

Next year, Davidson will be tested with a longer stint at Double-A, a shift that’s often considered one of the most difficult for young players. If he continues to hit well, keep an eye on his name throughout the 2026 season.

Arizona Diamondbacks: Ryan Waldschmidt, OF (Double-A)

After being selected in the first round of last year’s MLB Draft, outfielder Ryan Waldschmidt has really blossomed into one of the best outfield prospects in the sport. He had a monster season offensively in 2025, leading him to be the Diamondbacks’ player of the year.

Waldschmidt spent 2025 between High-A and Double-A, where he slugged his way to success in both places. Waldschmidt slashed .289/.419/.473 with 18 homers and a 143 wRC+, showcasing his offensive skillset all across the minors. Waldschmidt also played in 134 games this year, an impressive accomplishment for a player’s first full professional season.

As he tore through minor league pitching, Waldschmidt flew up to the 86th spot on our top 100. If he can repeat this success in 2026, look for him to climb even higher on our top 100.

Colorado Rockies: Roldy Brito, 3B (Low-A)

For a few years now, the Colorado Rockies have done a solid job at finding some very solid prospects through the international free agent classes. This season, third baseman Roldy Brito proved that he may become yet another member of this successful strategy.

Brito spent the majority of the year in the complex leagues, destroying the opposing pitchers he faced. He then proceeded to finish the season at Low-A, continuing his dominance. Between both levels, Brito hit .371/.444/.516 while posting a 157 wRC+.

Although we’ve seen Brito play just 33 games in Low-A, his dominant stretch this season proved that he’ll be a name to watch as we move into 2026. Due to his offensive success, he’s our player of the year in the Rockies organization.
