The Milwaukee Brewers have become known for their ability to develop pitchers at a rate incomparable in Major League Baseball. Of course, Jacob Misiorowski is the young arm that has gotten the most attention. After all, he was named a National League All-Star last season after just five Major League starts, and is projected to be a fixture in the starting rotation in 2026.

Indeed, there are many young pitchers that may factor into the Brewers’ plans for 2026. They have, after all, become as successful as they have been in recent years because of their homegrown arms. With this in mind, any one of their numerous youthful pitchers could break out this upcoming season. That being said, one MLB analyst believes it will be right-hander Logan Henderson.

In a recent article published by Bleacher Report, Joel Reuter listed a pitcher from each MLB team that would breakout in 2026. For Milwaukee, he dubbed Henderson with the honor:

“Henderson dazzled in five spot starts last season, but spent the bulk of the season in Triple-A waiting in the wings. The Freddy Peralta trade has cleared a path, but he will still need to hold off Kyle Harrison, Robert Gasser, Brandon Sproat, and others.

“The development of a reliable breaking ball alongside his fastball and changeup is the key, and the curveball he is working on this spring could be the answer.”

In five starts on the Major League level last year, Henderson was 3-0 with a 1.78 ERA and 0.99 WHIP. Unfortunately, his season ended early due to an elbow injury. Fortunately, he did not need Tommy John surgery and is healthy for Spring Training.

As it stands, he is one of the young arms that is competing for a spot in the Brewers starting rotation.
