Earlier this summer, the Milwaukee Brewers 2026 season schedule was announced, and across Major League Baseball all other teams did so as well. While no game times, National TV announcements, or any other relevant information was announced, rather than the opponent, Andrew Wagner of Forbes Sports has now deduced that the Brewers and Atlanta Braves will play in the 2026 MLB Little League Classic on Aug. 23rd in Williamsport, Pa.
The Little League Classic was launched in August 2017 and has since been an annual tradition where Major League players attend the Little League World Series games throughout the day and then players and their families turn around and attend a profession game later that night, hosted within the friendly confine capacity of 2,300 people at Bowman Field, which is a minor-league stadium that’s currently the home field for Williamsport Crosscutters of the MLB Draft League.
If true, instead of the Brewers and Braves finishing up a series on Sunday at American Family Field in Milwaukee, they will instead travel to Williamsport for the Little League Classic game. Following that, the Brewers would travel to New York to play the Mets while Atlanta would travel to Georgia to start a new home-stand.
Andrew Wagner was pretty open about his reporting of this event, using season ticket holders and deductive reasoning behind why he reported that the Brewers and Braves will play in the 2026 Little League Classic. Wagner indicated that all 2026 ticket package holders were not charged for the August 23 game in Milwaukee and that the Little League Classic always takes place the first Sunday of the tournament. Team officials or MLB have not made an official announcement in regard to this, but all signs point towards the Brewers and Braves playing in this Sunday night prime-time game.
