They are activating newly acquired outfielder Luis Matos and have optioned a top prospect back to Triple-A today.

The Milwaukee Brewers have activated newly acquired outfielder Luis Matos today. Matos was acquired via trade yesterday by the San Francisco Giants. He had nine doubles, one triple, eight home runs, and 22 RBI with the Giants last season.
The Milwaukee Brewers have optioned catcher Jeferson Quero back to Triple-A to play for the Nashville Sounds. In his one game, Quero recorded one walk. He will head back to Triple-A and continue his season with the Nashville Sounds.
The Milwaukee Brewers have sent the left-handed pitcher Rob Zastryny n a rehab assignment to Triple-A. Zastryzny pitched in 26 games last year for the Brewers with a 2-1 record. He had a 2.45 ERA, A 1.18 WHIP, and 20 strikeouts in 22 innings pitched. He has been sidelined since March 22nd with a left shoulder strain.
Steward Berroa has been sent on a rehab assignment to Triple-A Nashville today. The 26-year-old outfielder played in two games for the Brewers last season. He had one walk, two strikeouts, and one stolen base.
