The Brewers have a 20-23 record. They are looking to avoid a sweep as they take on the Guardians this afternoon. They have yet to score a run in the first two games of the series. The Brewers have fallen to third place in the NL Central behind the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs. Before the series finale with the Guardians, the Brewers recalled a starting pitcher from Triple-A and sent a reliever down. They have also sent a left-hand pitcher on a rehab assignment in Nashville today.

Logan Henderson

The Milwaukee Brewers have recalled right-hand pitcher Logan Henderson from Triple-A. He has made one start so far this year for the Brewers. Henderson pitched six innings in his first start earning the victory. He allowed three hits, one run, one walk, and struck out nine. Henderson in 5-1 with Nashville in Triple-A. He has a 2.40 ERA through 38 innings and five starts.

Bryan Hudson

The Brewers have optioned left-hand pitcher Bryan Hudson to Triple-A. He will continue his season pitching for the Nashville Sounds. Hudson has pitched in 12 games so far this year for the Brewers. Hudson has one loss recorded in 10.1 innings pitched. He has allowed eight hits, seven runs, five earned runs, 12 walks, and struck out 13. He returns to Triple-A with a 4.35 ERA, a .205 batting average against, and a 1.94 WHIP.

DL Hall

The Brewers have sent Hall on a rehab assignment down in Triple-A. Hall has been on the injured list since March 5th of this year with a left lat strain. He will start working his way back with the Nashville Sounds in Triple-A.
