Milwaukee Brewers Secure 10th Straight Win

With a 6-5 win this afternoon on the road against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Milwaukee Brewers notched their 10th consecutive win. Milwaukee’s winning streak has included six wins against the Los Angeles Dodgers, three against the Washington Nationals, and one against the Miami Marlins. How long will Milwaukee’s winning streak last?

Milwaukee’s winning streak has tied them with the Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs for the best record in Major League Baseball. Milwaukee’s offense has been middling. They are 13th in batting average, 23rd in home runs, and seventh in runs scored. Designated Hitter Christian Yelich and Center Fielder Jackson Chourio are in the top 20 in the league in RBI.

The Brewers’ pitching staff has been a strength. They are seventh in ERA , 11th in WHIP, and fifth in opposing batting average. Starting Pitcher Freddy Peralta has been great this year. He is leading the league in wins, 15th in ERA, and ninth in opposing batting average. Rookie Starting Pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has taken the league by storm.

The Milwaukee Brewers will look for their 11th straight win when they travel to take on the Seattle Mariners for a three-game series beginning on Monday. If Milwaukee can continue playing this well, no team will want to face them this summer.
