Milwaukee(56-40) is in second place in the National League Central. They are a game behind the Chicago Cubs for the division lead. Milwaukee’s offense has been middling. They are 15th in batting average, 23rd in home runs, and seventh in runs scored. Right Fielder Sal Frelick is 13th in the league in batting average. Christian Yelich is 11th in RBI.
Milwaukee’s pitching staff has been strong. They are eighth in ERA , 15th in WHIP, and fifth in opposing batting average. Starting Pitcher Freddy Peralta is tied for the league lead in wins, 13th in ERA, and 10th in WHIP. Starting Pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has also taken the league by storm in his rookie campaign.
