The 2025 MLB All-Star Game brought plenty of memorable and exciting moments, from Kane Brown's pregame performance, the Zac Brown Band's national anthem rendition to the historic first successful use of the automated ball-strike (ABS) challenge system.

Amid the festivities, though, MLB also made sure to dedicate a moment for one of the game's greats, who remains an influential figure for the host state Georgia, Atlanta Braves fans and baseball fanatics: Hank Aaron.

During the game, MLB had a special presentation to commemorate Aaron's record-setting 715th home run. The league recreated the moment with visual projections and pyrotechnics — during which a ball was launched into the air to make it look like Aaron hit his homer.

For those not familiar with the legendary moment, Aaron recorded his 715th home run at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium in April 1974, surpassing Babe Ruth as MLB's all-time home run leader at the time.

Sure enough, the moment drew plenty of emotional reactions, with many remembering Hank Aaron's legendary career and what he has done for the city, the Braves and the league. Aaron died at the age of 86 in 2021.

"Hank Aaron tribute. Beautiful production tonight by @MLBONFOX that has had me in tears a couple of times. Something really beautiful that I needed tonight, and I thank everyone who did this," a commenter wrote.

A fan added, "Anybody else tear up in the Hank Aaron tribute? No? Just me? Gosh that was awesome!" A third supporter expressed a same sentiment, noting, "The Hank Aaron tribute just made me bawl my eyes out. Baseball is beautiful."

"The hank aaron tribute, how beautiful. I’m in tears #AllStarGame," a viewer further stated.

A social media user remarked, "This Hank Aaron tribute was so so cool, I love baseball. Insta-tears when the singular firework went off from home."

"That Hank Aaron Tribute was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. Goosebumps, tears and in awe. Great job @Braves @MLB," a sixth poster shared.
