The July 4 fireworks may be over, but we can set off some fireworks of our own by targeting some juicy home run props in MLB. Here are my three favorite HR bets for Wednesday's slate.
Wednesday looks to be a great opportunity to back some Toronto Blue Jays in home run props. Not only are they facing off against Lance Lynn, who's given up the most homers in MLB this year, but Ballpark Pal also predicts a 31 percent boost to home runs at Guaranteed Rate Field because of the wind blowing out to left center. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has hit all 13 of his home runs this year off right-handed pitching, and I like his price at +310.
I have no problem doubling down on the Blue Jays with the favorable conditions in Chicago Wednesday. Brandon Belt is hitting .389 against Lynn in his career, and he just hit two homers against the Boston Red Sox two games ago. This is a solid price and an even better matchup.
Let's try for a juicier price here. Justin Turner has been on fire lately with seven hits and two home runs in his last 16 at-bats, and he's staring down a great matchup Wednesday. In 39 career ABs against Jon Gray, Turner is hitting .333 with three doubles and two homers. I'll take a shot at the +600.
