We've got a loaded, 15-game slate on deck for Tuesday night in MLB, and what better way to attack a full slate than to target some juicy home run props. Here are my three favorite players to hit a home run Tuesday night.
Bryce Harper has hit just one home run in his last 40 starts, yet I can't stop betting on him in the HR prop market. Tuesday night's matchup against Julio Teheran is especially enticing, as Harper is hitting .404 with nine homers in 47 career at-bats against the right-hander. The wind will be blowing strongly out to right center at Citizens Bank Park Tuesday, so this couldn't be a better setup for a Harper homer.
Speaking of strong hitter-pitcher matchups, it's safe to say Mike Yastrzemski is excited for Tuesday night. In eight career at-bats against Cincinnati Reds starter Luke Weaver, Yastrzemski is hitting .625 with two doubles and a home run. Ballpark Pal is also projecting a 36 percent boost to home runs at Great American Ballpark Tuesday night due to the wind blowing out all game, so this is an ideal game to target for a HR prop.
It's been a profitable strategy this season to fade Baltimore Orioles starter Tyler Wells, who's given up the third-most home runs in MLB (21). J.D. Martinez has hit 20 of his 23 homers this year against right-handed pitching, which leads the team. The Los Angeles Dodgers slugger has also hit a home run off Wells in only five career at-bats against the righty. Give me the +400.
