We had a winning day on Monday with the Chicago Cubs and Boston Red Sox both coming through. Maybe the key is to keep it old school. It was a total whiff on the player prop though, as if anyone can predict the outcomes of rookie Detroit pitchers.
Tonight we are getting a full slate of action, though I am noticing that more and more games this season are starting before 7 p.m. I kind of like it and I kind of don't. Thoughts?
Now when you win you don't care what time the game starts but there have definitely been situations where I thought I had more time to get down.

In Review: Monday, June 19
Chicago Cubs -135 (win)
The Cubs continued their strong play with an easy win over the Bucs.
Boston Red Sox +125 (win)
Boston pulled away late at Minnesota to win 9-3.
Reece Olson Under 4.5 Strikeouts +120 (loss)
Yes, I am not a Reece Olson expert (haha). He punched out nearly twice as many in a longer-than-anticipated outing.
Favorite
New York Yankees -115 (vs Seattle Mariners)
The Yankees needed their off day yesterday to shake off a sweep at the hands of the Red Sox. They have lost four in a row but having Gerrit Cole on the hill might be enough to get things going in the right direction. Aaron Judge is still out but the Yankees have enough to get a win tonight. Plus the premium is coming down. This is cheap for a game that Cole starts.
Underdog
Washington Nationals +130 (vs. St. Louis Cardinals)
I was very surprised that the Cards are such large favorites on the road tonight. They have a losing record on the road for the season and are just 3-11 when Jordan Montgomery starts...so what are you paying the premium for? As for Washington, lefty MacKenzie Gore has nasty stuff and is hard to square up. The Cards should mash lefty starters but they are just 7-10 against them this season too. It seems to be taking the markets a long time to get over St. Louis.
Prop
Luis Arraez Over 1.5 Hits +185
The Marlins' leadoff hitter is hitting .400 and has a couple of 5-hit games in the last three contests. I was surprised that I could get such a good payoff on this one even though it is lefty on lefty and least to start. He is just not missing when a ball is in the zone and I expect Yusei Kikuchi to challenge him because he doesn't do a lot of damage.
