The brawl started after Lopez threw a high pitch at Soler in the fifth inning. After briefly exchanging words, Soler charged the mound and both players began throwing punches.
The benches cleared as players and coaches tried to separate the two. Lopez even appeared to land a punch on Soler’s helmet with the baseball still in his hand.
The Braves went on to win the game 7-2 after both players were ejected.
