MLB HR props for Wed. 7/3: Correa should pounce on Tigers rookie

New York Yankees starter Carlos Rodon is in a major funk right now. The left-hander has given up 15 earned runs and five homers in his last two starts alone, and he now has the eighth-highest barrel rate (10.6 percent) in the league among qualified pitchers. This price is so high because of the lefty-lefty matchup, but De La Cruz has been crushing southpaws of late. In his last 19 plate appearances against lefties, De La Cruz is batting .438 and slugging .938 with two homers. 

Carlos Correa (+480 FD)

Tigers at Twins, 8:10 p.m. ET

Correa is back on a roll. The Minnesota Twins shortstop is batting .389 and slugging .778 against right-handed pitching over the last 10 days, and he's staring down a juicy matchup on Wednesday night. Detroit Tigers starter Keider Montero has already given up three home runs through his first two MLB starts. The rookie is giving up a 12.5 percent barrel rate, and there aren't many players finding the sweet spot more often than Correa lately.
