MLB Makes Massive Aaron Judge Announcement on Tuesday

With a record of 36-22, the New York Yankees have stayed consistent so far in the 2025 MLB season.

After the Yankees were just short of a World Series in 2024, losing to the Los Angeles Dodgers in five games, they will look for another playoff push in hopes of winning their first championship trophy since 2009.

As they stay at the top of the AL East division with a 5.5 game lead, New York had a 16-9 record in May.

It's hard to argue that Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge isn't the best player in baseball right now.

Aaron Judge is named as the AL Player of the Month for May

Leading the majors in hits (86), batting average (.391) and OPS (1.248), while ranking in the top five in home runs (21) and RBI (50), New York's captain appears to be on pace for another dominant season.

With this being said, Judge continued his dominance in the month of May, and the MLB announced that he's the American League Player of the Month.

Aaron Judge's month of May was very similar to April's numbers.

He finished with a .364 batting average, .453 OBP, .709 SLG, and a 1.251 OPS while hitting 11 home runs, 18 RBI, and drawing 17 walks in 99 at-bats.

After having another dominant month of baseball, Aaron Judge and the Yankees are tied with the Detroit Tigers for the highest run-differential in all of baseball with a +98.

Judge and the Yankees will look to continue their hot streak as they travel to Cleveland to take on the Guardians in a three-game series.
