The New York Yankees have quickly emerged as one of the best teams throughout the 2025 MLB season so far, as they currently hold the first-place spot in the AL East with a solid 19-16 record.
One of the biggest factors in their success is the offense, as the team has already scored a total of 190 runs this year , which is the second-most in the MLB behind the Chicago Cubs at 217.
Of course, it's impossible to tell the story of the explosive Yankees offense without mentioning outfielder Aaron Judge, who MLB.com revealed received 46 out of 46 first-place votes in their first MVP poll of the season.

That's not much of a surprise, though, because Judge is off to an amazing start this season, as he currently leads MLB in batting average (.414), on-base percentage (.503), slugging percentage (.759) and OPS (1.263).
In 35 games so far, the slugger has already accumulated 133 at-bats, 55 hits, 32 runs scored, 11 home runs, 33 RBIs, 22 walks, 101 total bases, three stolen bases, a 257 OPS+ and a WAR of three.
Judge has already earned himself an impressive personal achievement this year, being named the AL Player of the Month, which marks the 10th time he's won the award in his career.
If he continues at this pace, there's no doubt that Judge will be well on his way to earning his seventh All-Star appearance, fifth Silver Slugger, third Hank Aaron Award and third AL MVP.
It would certainly be quite the achievement, considering that only 12 players in MLB history have ever been named an MVP at least three times.
