Milwaukee Brewers infielder Jesus Made has climbed to the No. 1 spot on both the MLB Pipeline and Baseball America prospect rankings after Pittsburgh Pirates rookie Konnor Griffin officially graduated from prospect eligibility on Wednesday.

Griffin surpassed the 130 at-bat milestone with Pittsburgh and now sports a .702 OPS across 133 MLB at-bats, to go with three home runs, five doubles, three triples and nine stolen bases.

Made, who turned 19 on May 8, is currently the youngest player at the Double-A level and has emerged as one of the fastest-rising prospects in baseball. The switch-hitting infielder has appeared in 34 games for the Biloxi Shuckers this season and carries a .257/.340/.400 slash line with a .740 OPS, three home runs, 20 RBIs, 15 stolen bases and 26 runs scored. He also has five doubles, three triples and 18 walks while playing second base, shortstop and third base.

Though May has been challenging offensively for Made, who owns a .464 OPS this month, he remains among the Southern League leaders in several categories, ranking tied for second in triples with three, third in hits with 36 and tied for fourth in stolen bases with 15.

Made becomes only the second player in Brewers franchise history to reach the No. 1 overall prospect ranking, joining Jackson Chourio, who briefly held the top spot before making his major-league debut in 2023 at age 20. Chourio was previously ranked No. 2 overall entering 2024, behind Baltimore Orioles infielder Jackson Holliday and ahead of Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes. Current Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski entered 2024 ranked No. 33 overall.

The Dominican Republic native signed with Milwaukee during the team’s 2024 international class, although Jorge Quintana was initially considered the top signing of that group. The Brewers also signed Luis Pena in the same class, who is now ranked as the organization’s No. 2 prospect.

Made’s stock soared after he finished last season at High-A Wisconsin with a flourish, where he recorded a .915 OPS across 27 games following his promotion from Class A Carolina. He later made his Double-A debut in September 2025 at 18 years and 124 days old, becoming the youngest player in Biloxi Shuckers history. In 2025, Made was named Brewers Minor League Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, joining Taylor Green and Jackson Chourio as the only players in franchise history to win the award multiple times.
