Baz was picked up from the Tampa Bay Rays last MLB season. He posted a 10-12 record with a 4.87 ERA last season. There’s plenty of room for improvement, but he’s been a strikeout machine.
The New York Yankees remain undefeated after two shutout games against the San Francisco Giants. The Yankees are coming in hot with their signings, as they managed to bring in Luis Garcia.

The former World Series-winning pitcher for the Houston Astros could sport the pinstripes pretty soon. Garcia and the Yankees agreed to a minor league deal, and he could work his way up to the MLB.
The Yankees started out on the perfect foot after recording back-to-back shutouts against the Giants. It was the first time in Yankees history, and the 18th time it has happened in the MLB.
