The Reds are hoping to win the division in 2024 after staying in the playoff race for most of last season. The Brewers won the National League Central in 2023 and made a move to help solidify their bullpen on Thursday.
Milwaukee acquired right-handed reliever Taylor Clarke from the Royals. They sent Ryan Brady and Cam Devanney to Kansas City in the deal.
Clarke, 30, spent the past two seasons with the Royals. He also spent three years in Arizona. He posted a 5.95 ERA last season, but was solid for Kansas City in 2022, posting a 4.04 ERA and a 3.9% walk rate.
