New York Yankees Get 'Lingering' Update On Giancarlo Stanton’s Progress

The New York Yankees have been without Giancarlo Stanton for a long time. One of their best hitters was placed on the injured list due to a low-grade strain on his right calf. Despite Stanton’s absence, the Yankees have played well.

Younger stars like Ben Rice have taken the responsibility and crushed home runs for the team. However, Giancarlo Stanton’s presence boosts the Yankees’ spirits. Fans are waiting for the slugger to return, but it could take some more time until he’s fully recovered.

Yankees beat reporter Greg Joyce shared a latest update on Stanton’s progress on X.

“Giancarlo Stanton said he feels better than the imaging looks on his right calf. But still in a holding pattern because the MRI last week showed the strain is lingering. He’s been hitting every day but still no running, just plyos,” Joyce reported.

Stanton must be able to hustle, and the Yankees would not want to risk it again, but pushing him too early. As long as he’s healthy, Stanton is a dangerous hitter. The Brox Bombers will try their best to ensure he’s steady for the playoffs.

Giancarlo Stanton Responds To Jazz Chisholm Jr. Wearing His Pants

Jazz Chisholm Jr. has been in a slump for a long time. The slugger is having a mediocre season, and he’s trying everything possible to break his slump. Chisholm wore Trent Grisham’s pants for luck, and he recently wore Giancarlo Stanton’s pants while playing the Mets.

Stanton’s pants certainly looked like a loose fit for Chisholm, but the designated hitter mentioned that it’s cool that he’s wearing his pants.

“I think it’s great. It’s definitely cool, especially he’s been raking in them, so I think it’s gonna stay,” Giancarlo Stanton said.

The Yankees star said he’s waiting to return to the lineup soon. For now, the Yankees will continue without Stanton and hope that he’s back by next month and stays healthy throughout the season.
