The Diamondbacks took the series over Seattle on Tuesday night by a score of 10-3, as Arizona’s bats came alive at Chase Field.

Brandon Pfaadt looked like he was getting back on track for Arizona, as he didn’t allow a run until the sixth inning which was a welcome sight after two uncharacteristic outings before Tuesday night. He was on a short leash though after giving up two home runs, as head coach Torey Lovullo didn’t want to see his recent struggles catch back up with him.

Arizona is getting going at the plate, and Corbin Carroll was leading the way by hitting a triple in the third inning to score Alek Thomas. Geraldo Perdomo right after hit a sacrifice fly to score Carroll and bring Arizona a 2-0 lead.

In the fourth inning, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a home run that just carried out in left to give the D-Backs a 3-0 lead. Gurriel Jr. had himself a game as he also robbed Cal Raleigh of a home run in the third inning. Josh Naylor gave the D-Backs a four-run lead, though Pfaadt gave up two home runs to Randy Arozarena and Rowdy Tellez. Tayler Scott came in after to make his D-Backs debut and was able to get out of the inning.

The D-Backs broke it open in the sixth inning as they started it off with Gabriel Moreno hitting a three-run home run, followed by Corbin Carroll hitting his second triple of the game. Geraldo Perdomo hit a sacrifice fly to score Carroll to help Arizona get out to a 9-2 lead.

Bryce Jarvis held it down for the most part in the bullpen role. Jarvis pitched three innings and only allowed one earned run on three hits. Tuesday night was capped off by an Alek Thomas moonshot to give the D-Backs a 10-3 win and the series victory over Seattle.
