The Philadelphia Phillies unveiled the 2026 MLB All-Star Game logo just under one year from hosting the annual event at Citizens Bank Park.
The Phillies and MLB revealed the logo during “Philadelphia’s 2026 All-Star Declaration” ceremony at Dilworth Park in Center City. Among those who took part in the festivities were Phillies managing partner and CEO John Middleton, mayor Cherelle L. Parker, Bryce Harper, Larry Bowa, Bobby Abreu, Cole Hamels, Ryan Howard, John Kruk, Juan Samuel World Series-winning manager Charlie Manuel, and more.
“Major League Baseball is thrilled for Philadelphia to be the host city for the 2026 All-Star Game and for America’s pastime to play a role in recognizing a momentous year in our nation’s history,” commissioner Rob Manfred said in a statement.
“Today’s logo unveiling sets the stage for a year-long celebration of our game and our country in the City of Brotherly Love. We are excited to work together with the Phillies and local officials to shine a light on Philadelphia’s rich history, culture and passionate fan base.”

The special unveiling also featured a video featuring Broadway star and Philadelphia native Leslie Odom, Jr., as well as a performance from The Roots. The 2026 All-Star Game logo celebration continued throughout the day, with the Philadelphia’s 2026 All-Star Declaration Bus touring area landmarks, as well as during an on-field pregame celebration at Citizens Bank Park.
“Philadelphia will be the place to be in 2026, and the Phillies are thrilled to join MLB in hosting the Midsummer Classic,” Middleton said.
“Baseball fans will have the opportunity to take part in the activities and events that make All-Star Week a special experience. In addition, the 250th birthday celebration of our great nation will give fans and visitors to our city an opportunity to see Philadelphia in a unique light. We have no doubt that they will create wonderful memories.”
The All-Star Game is going to headline a series of events throughout the week next July, which includes the Futures Game, Home Run Derby and MLB Draft. Additional information for those, including the All-Star Village and tickets to the 96th Midsummer Classic, will be announced in the coming months.
The Phillies’ All-Star Game logo pays tribute to the city of Philadelphia and upcoming 250th birthday of the United States of America.
At the center of the 2026 All-Star logo is the Liberty Bell, a recognized symbol of the city and nation, but it is reimagined with energy and movement to reflect the spirit of the Midsummer Classic. The typography takes cues from the bell’s historic inscriptions, blended with design touches inspired by the Phillies’ signature style.
The Phillies are hosting the 2026 MLB All-Star Game on July 14 to coincide with the celebration of the semiquincentennial of American independence.
Phillies franchise history includes previously hosting the All-Star Game in 1943, 1952, 1976 and 1996. The Philadelphia Athletics were hosts in 1943, and the Phillies had the honor in 1952, 1976 and 1996.
The games in 1943 and 1952 were played at Shibe Park, and Veterans Stadium was the site in 1976 and 1996.
The 1943 All-Star Game was notable in that it was the first time MLB held the event at night. Then in 1952, the only rain-shortened All-Star Game was played.
The 1976 MLB All-Star Game was scheduled in conjunction with the country’s bicentennial celebration. The 2026 All-Star Game represents the first that will be played at Citizens Bank Park since it opened in 2004.
