Phillies’ Bryce Harper Announces Career Decision Amid MLB Offseason

Philadelphia Phillies superstar Bryce Harper is set to begin his 15th season in the MLB. This will mark his eighth season with the Phillies after spending the first seven years of his career with the Washington Nationals.

Harper's resume is already impressive as he enters his 15th year. The 33-year-old slugger has two National League MVP awards, eight All-Star selections and four Silver Sluggers.

Harper has yet to win a World Series title, but he sure is hoping that can be done with the Phillies re-signing slugger Kyle Schwarber and trying to remain competitive in the NL East.

The two-time MVP winner is coming off a strong year where he hit .261 with 27 home runs and 75 RBIs.

Recently, Harper drew attention when he was spotted wearing Nike's, which is surprising since he had a sponsorship deal with Under Armour since he entered the MLB.

Harper then replied to a fan's comment on TikTok, and the Phillies star said he was a "Free agent in the apparel/footwear category right now, buddy."

On Tuesday, Harper put that conversation to bed as he announced he is staying with Under Armour in a post on Instagram.

"Never a doubt. After 15 years, I’m proud to continue my partnership with Under Armour. Together we’ve made history and that doesn’t stop now!"

Harper first signed with Under Armour in April of 2011, after he was selected first overall by the Nationals in the 2010 MLB Draft.

He then signed a 10-year extension with the company in 2016, which was the biggest endorsement deal for a baseball player in history.

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curryleft Under Armour just a few months ago, so the company losing Curry and Harper would've been a tough blow.

But, Harper remains with Under Armour once again as he gets ready for the 2026 MLB season.
