Pittsburgh Pirates Right Fielder Bryan Reynolds had a game for the ages this afternoon on the road against the Milwaukee Brewers. He hit home runs in the 5th and 6th innings and finished with 5 RBI. Unfortunately, his strong performance at the plate was not enough to stop the red-hot Milwaukee Brewers. He was the only Pirates player who drove in a run today. Milwaukee won 12-5 for its 12th straight win. Can he keep up this high level of play?

Reynolds is one of the marquee players on a Pittsburgh Pirates roster devoid of talent. He debuted with the team in 2019 when he finished fourth in National League Rookie of the Year voting. He is also a two-time MLB All-Star(2021, 2024).
Reynolds and the Pirates return to the diamond Friday on the road against the Chicago Cubs. The veteran hitter will look to keep going for a Pirates team looking to finish a disappointing season on a high note.
