Red Sox vs Yankees: Two of the biggest AL East rivals are all set to open a three-game series in the Bronx. The Red Sox will take on the Yankees as the fight for the division continues. The Yanks are second in the AL East with a 37-25 record, and the Red Sox are at the bottom with a 26-35 record.
Boston’s miserable performance is not getting any better despite the firing of Alex Cora. If they continue their slump, the Red Sox might not be able to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Yankees have received grim news on Aaron Judge.
Judge is expected to miss some time after reportedly suffering a stress fracture in his first rib. The Red Sox have plenty of loopholes as well, but there’s still time to turn things around.

Here’s how to watch Wednesday afternoon’s game:
The Red Sox will send Sonny Gray to the mound as their starter in Game 1. Gray has been excellent for the team with a 6-1 record and a 3.06 ERA. The righty will look forward to setting the tone for this three-game series.
The Yankees will turn in left-handed pitcher Ryan Weathers to the mound as their starter. The southpaw has a 2-3 record with a 3.52 ERA. Weathers has been a bit shaky, but he’s doing everything to stay in control.
The Yankees have been trailing the Tampa Bay Rays for more than a month. However, they are now 0.5 games behind. The Red Sox are currently 11 games behind the Rays.
