
Reds starting pitcher Nick Lodolo won't pitch again this season.
The 26-year-old hasn't pitched since Aug. 22 and will miss the rest of the year after suffering a middle finger sprain.
Lodolo has been effective when healthy, but he's missed significant time over the past two seasons.
Hunter Greene threw 52 pitches over three simulated innings today. Next up is a start for the Reds, most likely Sunday.

Andrew Abbott threw a side bullpen session and has another scheduled. Still a chance he returns.
Bell said Nick Lodolo will not pitch again this season.
