The Reds have "checked in" on veteran outfielder Teoscar Hernandez according to Doug McKain.
The Phillies have also checked in, and the veteran is prioritizing a return to Los Angeles, despite pursuit from the Blue Jays, Red Sox and Yankees.
Hernandez slashed .272/.339/.501 to go along with 33 home runs and 67 extra-base hits with the Dodgers in 2024. He would be a great fit in the Reds' outfield, but it doesn't sound like they'll sign the veteran.
Teoscar Hernandez has received multiple offers, but is still prioritizing re-signing with the Dodgers, sources tell me.

The Blue Jays are currently in 2nd, with the Red Sox a distant 3rd.
The Yankees are less of a priority. The Phillies and Reds have also checked in.
