Report: Mets targeting Jackie Bradley Jr., Enrique Hernandez, Brad Hand

The New York Mets have been one of the most active teams this winter, and there are no signs of new owner Steven Cohen wanting to slow things down.

According to MLB Network's Jon Heyman, the Mets are targeting Jackie Bradley Jr., Enirque Hernandez and a bullpen arm, which Heyman speculates to be Brad Hand.

Jackie Bradley Jr. was expected to be one of the most sought-after outfielders this offseason. That's still the case, though things across Major League Baseball have been slow thus far. According to Heyman, the Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, Houston Astros and Colorado Rockies are among teams monitoring Bradley Jr.

The 30-year-old has never been flashy at the plate, slashing .239/.321/.412 in eight seasons with the Red Sox. However, the Gold Glover's play in the outfield is among the best in the game.

Hernandez, meanwhile, remains a highly sought-after infielder. The 29-year-old is also drawing interest from the Red Sox. In seven seasons, mostly with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Hernandez slashed .240/.313/.425. Much like Bradley Jr., he's lauded for his defensive prowess.

Hand is one of the top relievers remaining on the market. He's drawing interest from the Los Angeles Angels and Toronto Blue Jays on top of the Mets. In two and a half seasons in Cleveland, the left-hander went 8-6 with a 2.78 ERA and 154 strikeouts in 107 innings.

So far, the Mets have added several big-name players, including Carlos Carrasco, Francisco Lindor and James McCann.
