The Reds agreed to a one-year, $2.4 million deal with Santiago Espinal on Friday to avoid arbitration, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post.
The Reds traded for Espinal in March, and he appeared in 118 games for the Reds in 2024 and slashed .246/.295/.356 with 21 extra-base hits and 11 stolen bases.
Espinal gives the Reds versatility heading into the 2025 season.
